Grade 7 mathematics further develops your abilities in the areas of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and logic. You will not simply learn how to pass tests. I will teach you to think mathematically: to understand the structure and beauty of the mathematical world and to be able to use that understanding to solve real-world problems. In 7th grade, you will gain proficiency in understanding how to solve problems that require multiple steps and mathematical techniques. I cover such topics as fractions, decimals and percents, basic statistical concepts (e.g., mean and median), graphs, scientific notation, probability, units and measurement, basic geometry, simple proofs, manipulation of equations with variables, and much more. You will also learn basic proficiency with spreadsheets.
