Buried in Ice: The Franklin Expedition
First aired in February 1988 this NOVA documentary details the ill-fated voyage of the Franklin Expedition in the mid 1840s. Roald Engelbregt Gravning Amundsen (Norwegian) is also known as having the first expedition to traverse the Northwest Passage (1903–06) in the Arctic.
