The Freedom Fighter
One man stood out from the many who fought to bring freedom and relief from the terrors of the slave trade; though it took him forty-five years to see it outlawed. His name was William Wilberforce. Wilberforce was a British member of parliament who risked being thought a fool for standing by his principles. He was an example of a politician standing for what is right, rather than what is convenient.
